Living tradition from Armenia: Emmanuel Hovhannisyan follows in the footsteps of the famous duduk master Djivan Gasparjan. He passes on the art of duduk playing and the centuries-old melodies to the next generation. The ensemble is complemented by Iranian ney player Mehdi Aminian, who found a new home in Vienna and has already performed numerous concerts with Hovhannisyan in the Roots Revival project. The bass is played by Helene Glüxam, who makes the connection to Austria. Then we see an evening glow in the Alps. The duduk shows us the way.

Culture X Change #Kaukasus
From November 10 to 12, 2021 our project Culture X Change #Caucasus will take place. It is a first rapprochement and an attempt to show or intensify artistic connections between Austria, Georgia and Armenia. In Georgia as well as in Armenia, the Austrian Development Cooperation specifically supports projects!
