CLIŠHÉ TRÄSH is a collectively curated project. Its aim is to point out clichés and stereotypes in a humorous and ironic way, to question their underlying structures and, ideally, to dismantle them.

In 2022, together with four experts from the independent and institutionalised cultural sector, we started a process of collaborative curation and (self-)reflection. With the help of our four forum members, Asma Aiad, Petz Haselmayer, Ivana Marjanović and Negin Rezaie, we critically questioned and revised our programmes. CLIŠHÉ TRÄSH is the result of this process and has since been a cooperation with various cultural institutions.

Offensively and explicitly, we play with deep-rooted thought patterns that have an unconscious effect and are difficult to get rid of. Join us as we explore not only these patterns, but also comedy and pleasure activism as effective tools to bring about change.
