A city in the summer heat. People go missing here every day. While the police show little interest in the matter, Anna and Eireni quickly realise that these must be acts of racist violence. Instead of going on their first date, they sneak into the summer camp of a nationalist movement to investigate on their own. There they try to pass as young right-wingers without betraying themselves and their feelings for each other. The pressure to maintain their assumed identities increases when they are no longer alone in the tent. What does it really take to confront fascism? Strategy, alliances and trust? Or courage, love and drive?
Eve Leigh, born in New York in 1984, lives in London. The playwas shown in its English-language original at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023 and was translated into German for the Schauspielhaus.
