Tonica Hunter has a background in French and German Studies as well as a Masters in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford.
Having moved to Vienna in 2014 to work at a migration policy think tank, Tonica now works part time at the Austrian National Library on a cultural heritage project and is a part time freelance researcher, curator and cultural producer.
Tonica has (co) founded and curated for various collectives (Sound of Blackness, Series:Black) and projects in Vienna which use arts and culture as a means to redefine social space and contribute to conversations and thinking on diversity, inclusion and intersectionality in Austria.
