It's time for a birthday party: Stand 129 will soon be 10 years old. With the summer party we start into our anniversary summer. As soon as the sun is lower, the street becomes a dance floor with the sounds of Salah Ammo & Dabke Dilan. As the name suggests - dance means dabka in Arabic and dilan in Kurdish - it's all about pure dance music. The wild combination of Middle Eastern folk music and electronic sounds, played on traditional instruments and carried by strong chants, is based on the popular oriental Sha'bi style, known for its fast rhythms and electronic melodies. With fresh vibes and irrepressible joy of playing they invite you to dance together - hold your hands and shake your hips!
