Exhibition in the framework of Klima Biennale
06.04. – 14.07.2024
Festivalareal Nordwestbahnhof,Nordwestbahnstraße 16, 1200 Wien
Songs for the Changing Seasons brings together a global, intergenerational group of artists whose works generate proposals and embodied gestures of adaptation to ecological realities. Exploring forms of love, attention, repair, humility and preparation, these artworks address the question of where, when and how global transformations are realized and expressed. The works also address the ways in which change affects people and landscapes, helping us to imagine possible regenerative outcomes for individuals, communities and places. Reflecting on how ecological concerns are felt and addressed through art, the exhibition focuses on the rhythms, repetitions and also endings that characterize the ebbs and flows of our planet.
