Samuel Yirga is a rising star in the Ethiopian musical sky.  The skies above Ethiopia are littered with countless stars, all of which are all vagabond on the vast galaxies of Ethiopian jazz. We remember the Ethiopian percussionist and vibraphonist and vibraphonist Mulatu Astatke, who played a major role in shaping the soundtrack soundtrack in Jim Jarmusch's Broken Flowers. Samuel Yirga is still an unknown star in this country,  but in his immediate environment, in Addis Abeba, it is impossible to imagine the music scene without him. He has played with greats such as Mahmoud Ahmed and Aster Aweke.
