The Queer Feminist Festival (QF²) is a celebration of the diverse community of activists in Vienna. Organized by Villa Vida, the festival builds on the long tradition of celebrating and occupying spaces. After many months of lockdown, it is more important than ever to work together for a more just world.
The QF² festival will take place on Spörlingasse in front of Villa Vida. Villa Vida is a café in the Turquoise Pink Purple Villa. The pink-purple villa (better known to many as "Villa") has been the foundation of the LGBTIQ community in Vienna for over 38 years! Born out of a squatter:inside movement in 1982, the house with its colorful pink-purple walls stands for a utopian alternative to all societal norms, encompassing a wide range of self-help groups and services as well as collectives.
The QF² Festival offers diverse entertainment, workshops, performances, music and information. The event is free to the public. The 2.5G COVID rules will be enforced.
