The annual day of remembrance, initiated by the United Nations, calls on the birthday of the freedom fighter, politician and Nobel Peace Prize winner, who died in 2013, to take responsibility for fellow human beings and society. For the eigth consecutive year, SADOCC is organizing a cultural walk to commemorate Mandela. As always, the international Nelson Mandela Remembrance Day on July 18 offers an exciting program with, among others, the award-winning journalist and filmmaker Regina Strassegger, singer Jennifer Muhozi and saxophonist Allan Landgraf. Food and drink will also be provided as part of a cozy get-together at Nachbar*innentreff Yella Yella.
