20 years of MoZuluArt
MoZuluArt has released three albums to date, one of which was recorded by the four musicians in the Stadtsaal. But it is the live concerts where the crossover ensemble has regularly outdone itself in its 20-year history. We are therefore all the more delighted to be able to present MoZuluArt & Ambassade String Quartet in its original line-up for the first time since 2019.
Classical music meets African acappella singing, or "Zulu Music Meets Mozart": this program laid the foundation for a remarkable career that has taken them from Vienna to Johannesburg, New York and Moscow. MoZuluArt's fans include artists such as Mimi Coertse and Taj Mahal. Classical star Rolando Vilazon has invited the ensemble to perform as part of the Mozartwoche Salzburg.
The protagonists are no strangers to anyone who has followed kulturen in bewegung over the years. A reunion with Vusa Mkhaya, Ramadu, Blessings Nqo Nkomo and Roland Guggenbichler on the piano.
