Opening of the festival with Matojeni Melo-Maniacs (ZWE)
Six musicians, including Insingizi member Blessings Nqo Nkomo, form Matojeni Melo-Maniacs to preserve their culture, the Ndebele culture. With impulsive songs, rhythms and dances as well as the use of both traditional and European instruments, they take "their foundation" out into the world to connect people through music.
