The protagonist of im vorbeigehen / u prolazu arrives at an airport in Serbia. It is a situation between departure and arrival, a transition from one home to the other. On the subsequent car journey, he is stuck in a small space with his closest family members. Small talk alternates with his inner monologue and flashbacks to the past: the car becomes a time capsule that travels into memory.
