About the content:
New issue of women*solidarity (no. 169/170): Democracy & Reproductive Self-determination
Democracy needs feminism! This is particularly evident from the current shift to the right and the anti-feminist mobilisation. In the current issue of women*solidarity, we therefore focus on democratic feminist movements and possibilities of political participation for women beyond elections and party politics. 30 years after the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development in Cairo, we also address the question: What is the current situation regarding the realisation of reproductive rights?
Best-of Women on Air: 2023-24: SDG 5 – Reduced Inequalities
In 2023 and 2024, Women on Air will focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and gender equality to ensure media presence and public attention for the topics of women/gender & development. In the context of women-specific North/South issues and in view of current crises, the Women on Air editorial team represents women-specific North/South issues in public discourse and makes them audible.
