Working Scholarships

Until September 15, 2022, you can apply for a working grant in the field of contemporary circus from the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sports.

The aim is to support the further development of the artistic skills of artists in this genre, as well as in the conceptualization, development and preparation of full-length new programs. In addition, mobility in the field of (international) circus scene, e.g. participation in festivals, exchanges shall be supported.

Applications can be submitted by artists and cultural professionals with permanent residence in Austria, who can prove sufficient qualification in the field of contemporary circus through relevant training or previous professional activity. A project can only be submitted once by a participating person (e.g. in the case of duos, trios, working groups).
