Open Call
The call for applications is aimed at artists who are already working professionally and whose work is characterized by an experimental orientation and innovative character. The scholarships are intended to enable artists to gain artistic and professional experience abroad, build networks and initiate international collaborations. The scholarships are awarded on a project-related basis and are not primarily intended for further education and training measures or training. A direct link between the project and the UN Sustainable Development Goals is desirable and will be used by the jury as an additional selection criterion.
Target group: Artists who have completed their artistic training and are Austrian citizens or resident in Austria (confirmation of registration) are eligible to apply. At least two public projects must have already been realized independently of a training institution.
Number of Grants: Up to 10 grants
Duration of Grants: 3 months. The grant must be initiated in the year 2024.
Grant Amount: Each grant is endowed with EUR 4,500.00
