Alexia Chrysomalii presents with her band songs and arrangements from her album "Metamorphosis" as well as traditional songs that reflect the rhythmic and melodic richness of the Greek tradition. Also participating is Margit Schoberleitner from the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, who will musically support this encounter with marimba and timpani.
This concert marks the start of the new cycle " Wiener Stimmen" ("Viennese Voices"), in which the Vienna Musikverein, after the enthusiastically received concert in the Great Hall, continues its innovative project within the framework of the partnership with the Brunnenpassage. Following Alexia Chrysomalli, Marjorie Etukudo, Basma Jabr, Nataša Mirković, Golnar Shahyar and Sakina Teyna will each perform a concert in the Glass Hall. With their own ensembles, they will enter into an artistic dialogue with musicians from the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, thus continuing the encounter between the city's diverse musical cultures that has already begun.
