After 25 years, the festival is taking place under a new artistic director for the first time. Friedl Preisl has traditionally been in charge, but the anniversary edition will now take place under the direction of the new artistic duo Lisa Reimitz and Franziska Hatz. Once again, the aim is to bring both established artists and new talents to various Viennese - and one Lower Austrian - stages for a month. In the spirit of the accordion, the cultural festival offers a variety of artistic delicacies. With the tried and tested mix of old and new, international and local artists, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
