This November the 20th edition of the KlezMORE Festival will be celebrated in Vienna! Which once again proves the consistency, but also the mobility and flexibility of Friedl Preisl's cultural work, or as he would probably put it, the sustainability of the same. It may be reported from the organizational inner life of the festival that the tireless cultural mediator and organizer Preisl, who has been enriching our planet for more than three quarters of a century, is increasingly withdrawing to core areas, similar to his other well-liked Viennese festival formats Accordion Festival and Der Musikalische Adventkalender, is increasingly retreating to core areas, while structural matters and more have migrated into the expert and dedicated hands of Franziska Hatz and Lisa Reimitz-Wachberger. Looking to the future, efforts will also be made to find programmatic support and additions.
