    The next Festival der Regionen will take place from 13 to 22 June 2025 in the Innviertel region of Upper Austria for the first time, with the main focus on Braunau am Inn as the festival venue. Since its foundation in 1993, the festival has been a guest in the Innviertel region time and again with individual projects. However, the Innviertel has never been an official festival region.

    Under the theme ‘Realistic Dreams’, the next Festival der Regionen will address the omnipresent feeling of uncertainty and set out in search of new narratives and utopias. Certainties are in limbo. Is this a dream, AI or reality? What is true and what is false in a picture, a story, a statement?
